Really Important Question- Beyond ATM's

Is their a package store close to Rocky Harbor or Deer Lake or Norris Point where one can buy decent wine? Trying to decide not only if I should bring my fishing rod, but my corkscrew!? Ok, kind of kidding about the rod, not about the corkscrew!

Sorry I do not know, I was hoping someone else would chime in. There is a liquor store attached to Fisherman Landing restaurant in Rocky Harbour which I would think would have wine , the quality I cannot say. Deer Lake is big enough it should have something as well, I hope someone helps out.

Doggles,

Unbelievable. I believe it may be necessary to bring two corkscrews. Wow. Surely no problem drinking in Newfoundland! Thanks very much!

Alcohol was an early strategy to prevent an Irish uprising. (I know not a very pc)

Those are all express stores, if you didn't want to do special orders the larger liquor stores such as in Corner Brook will have a larger selection, the Howley Estates Liquor store in St. John's has the widest in stock selection of lables.

There is a liquor express located at the Irving Big Stop in Deer Lake, on the Trans Canada Highway where you will exit to travel to Rocky harbour.
