That's awesome the boys will love it when I see them in a couple of weeks ! They really are a bunch of great guys and will show you a good time every time you you go , whether fishing or just hanging out and having fun !!!!!
I know you will be back no matter where you stay .
What is with Cuba's infatuation with the song "Hotel California?" That always cracks me up...
Looks like a great time.
It's funny that you say that, Martian. I was at the Blau Arenal hotel outside of Havana 5 or 6 years back and when Hotel California would come on, I noticed all the bar staff would start singing along to it. Yenny ,Tony & others are you out there somewhere?
Which one is LENNY in the video? He has his own bar in Cuba?
We always have a fantastic time at Playa Prohibida!
The food is amazing as is the scenery - and the laid back vibe, cannot be beat.
Junior, Coco and Rolly are the heart of this spot, next May can't come quick enough!!!!
The boys know only a few Yuma songs but Hotel is one for sure.
They have been working on " Me and Bobby McGee " the Kristofferson version which is only right !
It is a great place to visit , unlike most Cuban " lobster shacks " which are pretty much all the same . This one is in a whole different space from the food to the beach and fishing , let alone the entertainment, Most folks that spend a little time there usually find their way back !
gone back everytime trip, I have had good lobster but their lobster is great.
the staff is wonderful and musican are very good. Fishing is great too ;-)
Usually go back two times a trip. It is what brings me Cayo Coco aside from the area which is great for relaxing.
Would the real Lenny please identify himself, please?
Ok, there has been many mentions in this thread of 'fishing'. What are you saying? At the bar you can grab a pole and fish? Or is this a stop for those people who take fishing charters?
No fishing charters, just a great spot to fish. Pole maybe difficult, they only really use a line and a hook or bring your own!! or they may lend you something
They will also cook your catch for lunch!!
OMG, I thought it was just me with the Hotel California thing. Every visit, no matter what part of the country, at least a couple times! I get a mad fit of giggles now every time they see the "chimmering lights".
Long for the old Guantanamara days. lol.
