High surf

Hello,

The ocean has been very rough for the last couple of days and we had two trips (snorkeling in Culebra and bio bay) cancelled because of the weather. For this reason we decided to fly to Culebra this Friday and stay there for 7-8 hrs to see the famous Flamenco Beach, swim and maybe snorkel. Is the ocean still rough there? Is it worth going?

Thanks!

Flamenco can get rough, but it is still beautiful. It usually isn't so rough you can't go in the water and there are lifeguards. But if Flamenco is too rough for snorkeling, go to the other side of Culebra to Carlos Rosario, Tamarindo or Melones and it should be calm enough for snorkeling.
