Figuring out best itinerary/distance between wineries

I have decided to do 2-3 tastings per day and am trying to figure out if there is an easy way to determine the distance between two wineries so we don't pick two wineries every day that are as far apart as can be.

At this point I have these appointments, one per day:

Faila

Whetstone

Schramsberg

Chase

I would also like to visit:

Pride

Cakebread

Larkmead

We will be staying at Andaz in Napa.

Have you heard of Google Maps?

.....Sarcastic? Is that not an easy way to find distances?

https://maps.google.com/

It is 10.1 miles between Cakebread and Larkmead. I found it in 3 minutes.

Actran. Google maps are the easiest way to find the distance and directions between two points. That's not being sarcastic. Did you want someone to do it for you? My suggestion on your itinerary is to wing it.

I know how to use google maps. I was hoping there might be some kind of interactive app or site that might help. Thank you to the person that sent me a PM with a helpful answer.

hi actran - this map is very helpful to orient you to the valley overall, and the relative positions of the wineries. Use it as a tool to develop an itinerary that avoids back-tracking on any given day. A looping itinerary is ideal.

http://napavintners.com/maps/index.asp

As you can see, the valley is pretty small (<30 miles from end to end) and jam-packed with wineries. Although it doesn't give exact distances, you can certainly get a sense of how much territory you'll be covering when you tour. It is interactive and allows you to click-through to view the details of each winery.

Have fun!

NanciInNapa - that looks like a very useful tool. Thanks for the link. I also will be spending some time in Napa soon and have been scouting this board for helpful information. While Google Maps is the obvious go-to app, it isn't always accurate and a little insider info can go a very long way.

Sorry to read that Richard Cranium had to interject the sarcasm here. Hope you have a great time. Pride and Larkmead are amazing wineries!
