We are good to go!

Hi All,

So excited! Coming in March. Here's what we picked w/your help.

Arrive on Friday - KBH

Sat - Blue Water Rafting 5.5 hour tour

Sun - down day

Mon - get up early to catch the sunrise. Mon night - Luau

Tues - down day. Son will take GF to dinner somewhere

Wed - will find something to do that day as we sit on our lanai and decide that morn :)

Thurs last day - sunset cruise with Trilogy

Fri - leave for home around noon.

THANKS FOR THE TIPS. Anymore suggestions? Thx, m

All I can say is there are no "down" days on Maui. ;-)

i'm not sure i'd do the sunrise and luau on the same day...but i guess that depends on your energy level. you'll most likely need a long nap between. for me....i'd hate to waste a single minute sleeping in the day time while in hawaii.

have a great trip!

You have a good point. I figured 4 hours ahead it will be easier to get up at 3am when we first get there and if the sunrise is cloudy we have a chance to do it again later in the week.

Aloha,

I would do sunrise your first day, or maybe the second. I'd swap the BWR trip to one of the others, like Monday.

Hi SW,

Remember the looong thought process I went through w BWR? Broken backs and all that? Anyway, figured either the trip would be so awesome we'd want to do something else with them OR the trip would've been so rough that we'd need a week to recover before we got back on the plane.

However, I just know it is going to be fantastic and the sunrise will too. Now if we could just bring our dogs...

CU soon, m

I wouldn't do the sunrise and a luau in the same day without a serious nap between...don't want someone falling asleep in their poi!

I gotta say, taking a nap on a lawn chair with a good book in my hand and a cold drink to my side is a daily pleasure on Maui. Do both. Go for it.
