Vegetarian dining suggestions

Hi, we don't expect a dedicated vegetarian eatery and are accustomed to "finding" something on a regular menu so just looking for suggestions.....it's such a beautiful area I hope to find a nice setting and have a few menu options. p.s. we do not eat seafood!

Thanks in advance.

Can I ask where you're coming from so we can understand what your expectations are? I can't speak for Monterey specifically, but California is very vegetarian friendly. A simple yelp search confirms that there are several vegetarian restaurants. Hopefully someone with better knowledge can give you a real answer though.

Tillie Gorts in neighboring Pacific Grove offers vegetarian fare, but I can't speak as to whether it's a "nice setting".

The good news is the Monterey Penisula is rife with dining options that can/will accommodate vegetarian diners. The following website offers links to local restaurants that you can peruse before your visit so you can make an informed decision on where to enjoy a meal during your stay. Once you find a restaurants that pique your interest, you can visit their websites for menus, etc:
