Busch Gardens in October

We are coming to Williamsburg in October for 2 days just passing through on the way back home from DC. We plan to go to BG one day and CW another day. Do they routinely offer some type of fall discount on tickets? I have seen several things for the summer such as the bounce pass, which is not good for us since the water park will be closed. Am I just early to be looking for this?

You may be a bit early for discounts, but since you're planning just one day at each location, probably buying single-day tickets with possibly a AAA discount might be your best way to go. Your hotel/lodging may have discounted admissions available, so that's something to check on, too.

Look at the Bounce Pass though. It's not as much of a bargain when WC is closed, but regular 1-day admission to BG for an adult it $60; parking is $12, and 1-day admission to CW with the Palace tour is $46. That total is $118. A Bounce Pass purchased on-line is $99. You save $19 for one person. OK, with the Bounce Pass, parking is included at BG, so for that second person, the savings is $7. I see from one of your other posts you have two children, though I don't know their ages, but children up to age 5 are free with the adult Bounce. Without the Bounce, children ages 3 - 9 are $50. With the Bounce, children from 6 - 17 are charged the children's price. So even without WC, you'll save.

I'm sure mrspopeye knows the routes. I've got the map in front of me and it doesn't look like there would be any trouble getting to Nashville from the east coast. I don't see what the problem is bridgey. Besides, she didn't ask about that. And like my dear, old auntie used to say, "All roads lead somewhere"!

Sorry mrs I can't help with the BG ticket. Just wanted to throw my 2 cents in. I'm sure you will have a great time.

Just to clarify, I do know where Williamsburg is and we spent a few days there several years ago. I suppose I should have said we "are taking a little side trip" on our journey home.

With that said, thanks for the tips. I had not compared the numbers between tickets alone vs. the bounce pass, even with WC closed and that was very helpful. I will keep looking as the time gets closer. My kids are excited about howl-o-scream.

LOL on getting "bridged" - I've been on TA since 2003, and while I am a little more of a lurker than a poster, I am quite familiar with the regulars here and I am familiar with bridgefan from the Vegas forums. Blunt is just his style.

Bridge- If I go over to LV and start a friendly discussion post about bringing my kids to Vegas - would you help me keep it rolling? Just kidding.
