We're Californians, here on the East Coast for a brief research trip. A big snow storm is forecast for tomorrow, 3/3 when we planned to come visit CW. We had actually planned to visit Monticello first, but heard back from our B & B that based on the forecast it sounded like they would be closing Monticello!! We are happy to reroute to Williamsburg, but don't want to waste our time if there is a likelihood that everything closes during snowstorms.
What would you recommend for a good place to stay as well as what would you suggest we do on a snowy winter day in Williamsburg? Any recommendations would be appreciated since we need to make our plans quickly. We would also welcome recommendations for activities in this general vicinity that 2 adult history buffs would be able to enjoy in spite of a snow storm.
Thank you ahead of time!!
