Restaurants with kids? (preferably non-chain)

We are staying in Bellevue for 2 nights in a few weeks. We have a 3 year old and a 1 year old. Coming with our main focus going to Day Out With Thomas over in Snoqualmie but we'll be in Bellevue for breakfast and dinner a few days. Prefer non-chain restaurants but any help is great!

Where are you staying in Bellevue?

For breakfast - Gilbert's On Main

Chace's on Bellevue Way (prepare to wait on weekends)

Lil' Jon's (in Eastgate) again, prepare to wait

Bellevue Pastry on Main (just for a light pastry, croissant, coffee)

For dinner -

Cactus (Bellevue Square)

Black Bottle

Pagliacci (on Main street and in Bellevue Square)

520 Bar and Grill (on Main)

Wild Ginger (in the Bravern

El Tapitio (in Factoria area)

On of my favorites is Stellina Mercato, also on Main, low key pizzas, other Italian specialties. http://www.mercatostellina.com/#home

Local Burger, on Main is a new restaurant scheduled to open any day.

It's a chain - but out of China, very few locations in US. Again, often a wait.

I like Facing East, a few blocks north of the mall. It is also very popular, but the food is very good so it is worth a wait. There are always kids and families there.. Din Tail Fung was also on my list, and the Mediterranean Kitchen just south of the mall. Belle Pastry is great, not too far away.

Be sure to go for a walk around the reservoir at Bellevue Downtown Park.

Out near the train museum, a great place for lunch is the Mt. Si golf course. Good food, beautiful grounds and flowers, and a knockout view of the mountain.
