Morgantown Driving

I'm renting a car and driving from Toronto, ON to Morgantown on labor day weekend. I've driven to Pittsburgh and a compact car with 4 people did well. However, I've also driven to Stage College, PA from the north and noticed the terrain is definitely more hilly than that on the way to Pittsburgh and the Dodge Calibre I had made it though I thought to myself "I wonder if a Toyota Yaris would make it up this hill comfortably".

So I'm wondering if anyone can compare the drive to Morgantown to the two places mentioned above and think I can get away with a compact or I should get something like a Toyota Corolla to manage the climbs, especially if it's raining.

Thanks.

The drive to Morgantown from Toronto will be just like driving into Pittsburgh (same Interstate). However, driving around IN Morgantown is another story. Ridiculous traffic, big hills, and crazy traffic patterns in town. I love living here, but it is a difficult city to get around in.

State College is the opposite, where the town itself is easy to get around in, but getting there requires driving up some steep hills.

I'd say to rent what you can afford. If a compact car serves your budget better, you won't have any trouble on Interstate 79 getting to town.
