Ephraim Shores

Our family is planning a trip to Door County and we're considering staying at Ephraim Shores Motel - but there are no water view rooms available - we'd have a garden view. Anyone have any experience with this place? Advice? We'd like an on the water hotel that would be $150 or less. We've never been to Wisconsin before and are looking forward to it!

Thanks,

Cheryl

I have stayed at the Ephraim Shores 2x. My mother and father have stayed there at least 2x a year for many years now. (in fact they were there last week) They always have a garden view. They have no complaints. This is a nice, modern, clean and unassuming little place in the heart of Ephraim. It is located across the street from the bay. Even if you have a water view, you have to look at the water from across Ephraim Shores front lawn and the road that runs parallel to the motel. You can walk across the street to watch the sun go down. It is beautiful. Do not worry about not having a water view room. There is plenty of water all around. Make sure you go to Peninsula State Park and Whitefish Dunes State Park. Within Whitefish Dunes is Cave Point County Park. Natural beauty at its finest. I do believe that you will enjoy your stay.
