794 Ramp Closure HELP?!?!

Help! I need to get DT via 794, coming from the south (I think that's westbound?). I need to get off on Milwaukee St. Can someone tell me if that exit ramp is open or closed? Thanks for your help!

Any particular reason you're taking that route? Where are you coming from?

The answer to your question depends on where you're getting on 794. If you get on 794 where it starts down in St. Francis/South Milwaukee, then you can only get off downtown at the Lincoln Memorial Drive "exit." Basically, once you get downtown, you will have 2 choices: 1 - continue onto 94 westbound (a very sharp curve left), or 2 - get off 794 (go straight). From there you can meander through downtown to get to Milwaukee St.

If you get on 794 from 43/94 northbound, you will be on it for about 30 seconds before you just follow the exits to get right back off (staying in the righthand lane). The end of that exit ramp is roughly at Jackson St, which is 2 blocks east of Milwaukee St.

If you are coming from South Milwaukee, I'd recommend just taking KK all the way to where it turns into 1st St/Water St, and find Milwaukee St once you get into the Third Ward.

Milwaukee street exit is closed. You will have to get off at Lincoln Memorial drive. Turn left on Michigan St. Go about 5 blocks and you'll run into Milwaukee St.
