We took the Barker Ewing overnight trip and were very pleased with the trip... if camping is "your thing". The float portion was good- and the camp site terrific. The cook did an outstanding job of preparing dinner-- including a peach cobbler cooked over coals!!! Breakfast the next morning was terrific. No one could complain about being hungry!! Our guide (Nick) did a great job of educating us about all of the wildlife while making our experience FUN!
The camping portion wasn't "for me"... but everyone enjoyed themselves. Advice to others... bring layers!!! Who would believe August nights can be that COLD!! Thankfully I listened to other reviewers and was prepared. Bring dry shoes (Not those you wear in the boat) for campsite, woolly hat, and sweats for sleeping.
