Waikoloa to Mauna Lani

How far away from each other are these resorts?

Waikoloa RESORT and Mauna Lani are 5 minutes driveway to driveway by car. Not really walkable. Some will say there is a shoreline path but it is somewhat challenging and hot, not good at night for sure.

Waikoloa Village is about 10 miles away, 6 uphill. Must take a car.

Look at google maps.

I have walked the shoreline path between Waikoloa Beach and the Mauna Lani recently and Honu is right, it's tricky footing in spots (and don't do it at night for sure!) and hot during the day, although there can be nice breezes. It's great whale watching in season.

Not certain of the specifics of your question.....

As others have noted ..the official entrance to each resort are approx 3 miles part(Hwy to Hwy)

.Yet if you were to look at an aerial of the area......the North section of WBR borders the South section of Mauna Lani resort.

From properties in WBR like Hali'i Kai & The Colony....you are bordering the community of 49 Black Sand Beach....Golf Villas is not much further. A shame in some respects there couldn't be a small inner shuttle trail between the 2 locales.

Both are spread out over a fair bit of land...(Lava)

As mentioned ...the whale watching from shore is truly spectacular from the Ocean Club at HK.
