St Regis - Spa & Pool questions...

Aloha!

My husband & I are in Princeville right now & I have a few questions about the St Regis...

If you have a spa treatment there, is there any way of being able to enjoy their pool after? Or, do you know if you can pay a day rate of some sort to enjoy their pool for the day? We would also be eating & drinking at the hotel restaurants for the day...we LOVED!!! enjoying a sunset meal at the Makana Terrace restaurant the other night....WOW! What a truly amazing view...food was great too :))

I'm sure you'll get an answer, but I'm curious -- seeing as you're there, and you were at the hotel, why would you not enquire of hotel management? Seems the best way to get a straight answer.

In general, in Hawai'i, buying dinner at a hotel never qualifies you to use the pool, ever. The spa, typically no but not always, thus the need to ask the hotel.

Yes, we were at the hotel & no, we didn't ask at the time because we were simply too busy enjoying ourselves - tomorrow however in the daytime we will enquire....but for now (since it's the middle of the night here) I just thought I'd post this to my fellow TA's & see what bites I got by morning :)

When you use the spa at theHyatt, you can use the spa lap pool only. Not the main pool at the hotel. I would imagine that most hotels would have the same policies.

When I was on the NS a few weeks ago a resident told me the St. Regis was offering a $50.00 daily use for the spa. She had just spent 6 hours pampering herself. I did not ask if use of the pool was included, but definitely worth asking about.

The other option is the spa, heated lap pool and fitness room at the Prince clubhouse. It is not as fancy, but they do offer very good massages, classes and a very nice pool area. We got a month pass and used it many of the cooler early am's and a couple of rainy days. Just another thought if the St Regis does not work out.

Enjoy!

I do know the ST Regis is offering those special rates to residents. A friend of mine who live in Princeville told me she was taking them up on the offer and wanted to know if I was on island to take advantage of it too.

Good reminder about the spa at the golf course.

For how much?

I would do that knowing that George Clooney is staying there.
