Agree with Kihei Cafe for breakfast and 3's for happy hour. I can add Monkey Pod for happy hour, but I haven't eaten there in about a year and a half and don't even know if they still offer their great beer and appy specials at happy hour??

if you cant get into Koiso then Paradise Sushi by Longs is good. only one chef so its slower pace with just a bit more seats and tables then Koiso. you will find things here that you wont find at other sushi bars such as chutorro. not much for ambiance, kind of more local but definitely good. some nights hard to find a table here as well.

my #1 wont be everyones but have to again say Cuatro's.

Ditto, we really enjoyed Cuatro's (25% off menu happy hour and BYO), Stella Blues and Kihei Cafe.

Koiso's is great but make sure you make reservations ahead of time. It is a very small restaurant with limited seating and is very popular.

We also like Cuatro's - Their steak appetizer with mushrooms is delicious!

Arrival night dinner at Cuatro -- especially the amazing array of appetizers!.

And the pina colada cake at Tommy Bahama's in the Shops at Wailea.

Fabiani 's on Lipoa Street is wonderful food with amazing desserts! Very casual, comfortable feel and seemed popular with locals. Deb
