kihei surfside in August

just wondering how hot it can get in the higher units with out A/C? will there be enough breeze in the one bedroom units to cool place down or will/might it be uncomfortable to sleep at night?

units such as 506/507502/402.

if no A/C might be an issue can u suggest any buildings in area that might be similar

thanks

Ocean Front is more important during Whale Season, IMO. Many complexes on the ocean are smaller, older -- yet more expensive than complexes across from the beaches. The OP asked about Grand Champions. I don't like that as much as Maui Kamaole or Maui Hill in South Kihei. These have big units and lanai with *close* ocean views. Their hillside locations help make them breezy. MK is newer and fully air conditioned; even the 1 BR's have two baths. Maui Hill units have deep, shady lanai, but I still like NW-facing lanai better than SW units.
