Luau at Hyatt Regency, pay extra for VIP seats

We have decided to go to the Luau at the Hyatt Regency. Would you recommend the extra $20 for the preferred seating?

Aloha,

This is one of those tough q's. Much depends on when you're going-busy time, or slow? Kids? Elders who don't stand well, waiting?

If you are just 2, and don't mind standing in line for a while, no. If you have kids and don't want to rotate holding a place in line-yes. If you are coming during peak times, prob yes.

The lineup can be REALLY long and in the hot sun, sometimes uncomfortable. With that said, I would save the money, and use it for a nice meal somewhere.

No the VIP tickets are not necessary. The Hyatt luau is very lame IMO. Go to the Feast At Lele. Much better.
