Park Fees, State and National

We will be coming to Maine early September for a week and plan to stay at least 3 nights in Bar Harbor/ ANP and plan to do Camden State Park along with other parks along the way. Is there a pass we can buy to get in and out of the parks. If there is, is it for the vehicle or per person? Or is it best just to pay as you go if your only in Maine a week? I know that depends on where all we go, but am planning on being in and out of the parks. Thanks

The fee for Acadia National Park is for the vehicle and is good for a full week, seven days. It is $20. The fee structure for Camden Hills State Park and the other Maine State Parks can be found here:

If you are 62 YO or older, you can qualify for the lifetime Senior Pass to US National Parks. You can obtain the pass by mail or in person at the Hulls Cove Welcome Center at Acadia National Park. There is more information here: http://www.nps.gov/findapark/passes.htm
