Heading back to Bar Harbor after 25 years

Trying to remember a beautiful B&B we stayed at in Bar Harbor (25 years ago) - It had a beautiful wrap around porch - part of it was screened in. The building itself had turets and the rooms upstairs had their own bathrooms. I know it sounds like a lot of the Victorian B&B's offered in the area. This one was on a fair sized property and there were 2 sets of stair cases to go up to the second level. I also remember there being some small cottages on the property.

Any suggestions as to which Inn this would be? I have looked on the Maine Tourism website and Mosely Cottage seems to be fairly close to what I remember it being like - but not quite.

That doesn't sound familar at all, especially the small cottages on the property. Do you recall if this was right in the village of Bar Harbor or some distance outside of town?

You could look around on www.sleepbarharbor.com and see if anything there looks like what you remember.

It may have been on the outskirts of town. I do remember having to drive into the main part of town as it was too far to walk.

The one thing that stood out in my mind was their beautiful porch - it went all around three sides of the house. Part of it was screened in (at the side) - the front was open. It felt like an hippyish-eclectic boarding house - it seemed like most of the main floor was a dining area. I know it has probably changed a fair bit in 25 years - but I would love to visit it again.

Or it could be the Asticou Inn, which does have a porch on the water side. But I guess you would remember if it was on the water and would have mentioned that. Inn at Bay Ledge, that I posted above, is high above the water. It doesn't really have any turrets, though.

Or it could be this one:

It has two cottages, a large porch, has been there for 25 years, has nice grounds, sort of has turrets -- more like dormers.
