B and B's with two beds?

Mom and daughter trip, both adults, planning on three nights in Bar Harbor in mid August. We'd love to stay in a B and B, which I've done previously when traveling with my husband, but need a room with two beds rather than one king or queen. Can anyone suggest a property that has a room with two beds? We'd really prefer to stay in town, walk to restaurants etc. use the shuttle to get to Acadia for some hiking, etc.

I'd appreciate all help and suggestions.

Thanks

Cheri

You can go to this site http://www.sleepbarharbor.com/search.html and search on which B&Bs have two beds. You can also type in your dates and see which have availability.

It looks like The Manor House Inn and The Primrose are two properties right in the village where you can get a two-bedded room.

Also, Holbrook House, Atlantean, and Ivy Manor Inn are downtown properties with two beds.

Seems like you have to look carefully because sometimes what they mean is a pull-out couch or if you book a suite to get two beds. Do you know of an inn, lovingbarharbor, that honestly has twin beds in one room ?

Actually, check with Aysgarth Station. They just ordered two new twin mattresses. Possibly they are using them as a King bed that can be separated into two twins.
