Itinerary Advice

Traveling with my son for a college graduation trip.

Advice or tips on the following itinerary are much appreciated. We are most interested in wine country, big trees, and nature.

Day 1: Fly into SF (arriving at 1:30pm), rent a car, head North to Santa Rosa to stay the night.

Day 2: Booked a North Sonoma winery tour with hotel pickup. Arrive back at hotel at 5:30 pm, have a nice dinner, spend the night.

Day 3: Leave early and head East to spend some time in Calaveras Big Trees State Park. Spend the night in Arnold.

Day 4: Leave Arnold and head south to Mariposa. ***Need advice on activities to fill this day up*** Is there anything we can stop and do or see between Arnold and Mariposa?

Day 5: Booked an all day Yosemite tour picking up from hotel.

Day 6: Free Day in Yosemite.

Day 7: Leave early from Yosemite and head back to SF for the afternoon flight home.

Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks so much in advance.

Hi

This is the SF forum page so the topics in the Top Questions, forum threads, Things to Do are really just about the lovely city of San Francisco. You are not visiting San Francisco at all.

I recommend reposting on the California state forum page.
