There is a garage at Pier 30 ... $6 an hour with a max of $30 (and that was a couple of years ago).

I wouldn't recommend driving to FW (lots of traffic, pedestrians, one way streets) make it very stressful

If you head along the Embarcadero, North, away from the Bay Bridge and toward the Golden Gate, you can take a left on Beach Street. About one block in there is a huge parking garage to your right. You can't miss it, as it has a giant Wyland mural of whales.

That is the main parking garage for Pier 39. It's a pleasant walk from there to Fisherman's Wharf.

Lots of other garage options. Go to Google Maps and input "Pier 39, San Francisco, CA" then search nearby for Parking.

No matter where you choose, it's going to be expensive.

There is 2 hour street parking a few blocks away from FW. Just make sure there are no other sign restrictions - check the whole block: street cleaning, construction, rush hour, etc. The meter maid chalks your tires. Some people see if there tires are chalked. If no, they don't move their car. Once chalked, they come back and check. If you're still there they issue a ticket.

If you decide to park at a meter, bring LOTS of quarters. It's around a quarter for 5 minutes.
