This is a pretty good list. I won't say how many I've done.
What? No Corned Beef and cabbage, or Lamb Shanks from Tommy's Joynt?
Glad that I managed to score at least one hit (Milk-roasted pork at L’Osteria del Forno) during my 48 hours in SF, but we definitely need to plan another trip.
A panini from Moulinari's, to go, have it on the lawn of Washington Square (with a little wine of course!)
I'm waiting to see Simba_8's list.
That's a MUCH better list than I was expecting. Some real classics in there!
If I understand this correctly, I cannot die until I eat this:
Unicorn stew from Moose's (has the new ownership changed the name?). The stew must be stirred with the unicorn's horn.
Here's a Google Map of some of the places listed, for your convenience.
Have to add Salt and Pepper Shrimp (in the shells) at Five Happiness on Geary and 5th Ave.
Go to Joseph Schmidt in the Mission District before June 30 and have a chocolate truffle. That's an original, even if Hershey's is killing it.
