There are lots and lots of restaurants in the Embarcadero Center. You are also at the foot of Market Street so it is very easy to get anywhere you want to go.

Mijita http://www.mijitasf.com/ in the Ferry Building and also in that area, you could dine at Orale Orale open 7am-8pm except closed on Sundays on 113 Sacramento Street btwn Davis and Drumm St. …menupages.com/restaurants/orale-orale/menu

I'm not a fan of Mijita - I just don't find it tasty. If you want some good upscale Mexican, take a short walk down Spear Street. Just past Boulevard is Mexico DF: http://www.mex-df.com/

Even if you don't go for a full meal, the margaritas and the guacamole is amazing! So good!

Tons of other options in the neighborhood as well. Everything from dinner with a view at Chaya Brasserie: http://www.thechaya.com/sanFrancisco/

to gastropub faire at Gordon Biersch: gordonbiersch.com/locations/san-francisco-ca

to California French fusion at RN74: michaelmina.net/restaurant.php…

to authentic Greek at Kokkari: http://www.kokkari.com

And of course the usual suspects at the Ferry Building - the top being Slanted Door.

If you are looking for something good for a lunch take-out, right across the street from the Hyatt is Oasis Grill: http://www.sfoasisgrill.com It's a total hole in the wall with some great Chicken Shawarma and other Middle Eastern goodies.

Agree, lunch at the Ferry Building is nice, but for a real treat, walk down to the Palace Hotel and have lunch or afternoon tea, at the Garden Court. A beautiful experience. Hotel was rebuilt after the Earthquake in 1906.
