San Francisco for New Year's Eve

Hey I am going to be in San Fran from New Years Eve - to January 3rd. I am 24 and going to be in town with some friends about that age. I am looking for a cool place to celebrate the New Year (bar, concert, etc.) Was hoping for some suggestions

Also for the weekend I was hoping to spend one day in Sonoma. Does anyone know if the wineries will be open for the holiday weekend.

Best to go to wine country in good weather and sometimes December is very windy and raining. There is a club for wine tasting off of Market St. between 3rd & 4th St. in Yerba Buena Lane: www.pressclubsf.com/ and they usually have a DJ after 8:30 PM.
