Honeymoon on a Simi-Budget

We're honeymooning in September. We're marrying on the 9th and looking to honeymoon sometime the next few days. We have a new baby so we won't be gone but 4 or 5 nights. We prefer all inclusive but I dont know if you can find those in San Fran. We're on a budget of about 1500-1800 for flight and hotel. We are flying from Greenville Spartanburg South Carolina. I'm looking for mostly suggestions on hotels but am also interested in renting a car OR is there good transportation around the city. Any info guys?

your budget would be just fine with just flight and hotel; you do not need a car in the city, MUNI is quite efficient and so much can be seen by walking through some nice neighborhoods. read about SFMTA/MUNI and buying the clipper card here: https:/…index.do

there are plenty of sights offering package deals, check them all and compare: packages on Expedia http://www.expedia.com/Vacation-Packages vs. Yapta.com for individual prices, etc. There are no resorts here that provide meals, if that is what you may have referred to with "all inclusive". Union Square will be where most hotels offer good packages, Hotel Nikko and Clift Hotel will likely be in the list you get when you search for vacation packages.

correction - sites not sights; if you see hotels in your searches that you are not sure about, just post here what you want to know more about and we'll help you.
