Quirky, affordable hotel in the center of it all.

I'm looking for a hotel in the heart of San Francisco. IWe won"t have the kids with us so I thought something quirky would be fun. Something in the $95-$150 a night range for June 16-19. Hubert looked interesting. Something within walking or trolly distance to places like Chinatown, Fisherman's Wharf, AT&T park and such. Got any suggestions?

Could you define what "quirky" means to you??

Hotel Fusion perhaps?

Not a hotel chain. Not a hostel. Modern or industrial decore. The Best Western Americana looked interesting.

Um, I think Best Western is the world's largest chain (if you believe their advertising).

Not an area which we suggest you stay in. Please don't go there.

How about Grant Baldwin, des Arts, Mayflower or Cornell de France. Please try and stick close to Union Sq

The Americia is not in a good neighborhood -- by a long shot.

Industrial? Hmm, hmm SF is more Victorian.

What is your budget per night?

it can be a chain. just would prefer one than didn't look like a standard hotel on the outside but also does't look like Grandmas house on the inside.
