I am trying to determine if using the public transportation system will be worth it to visit the California Academy of the Sciences in Golden Gate Park. We will have the CityPass (so the MUNI Passport). We will also have our car with us parked with in/out privledges at the Argonaut. It looks like it will be a 20 minute drive to the Music Concourse Parking Garage and then $4.50 per hour. The public transportation will require transfers and take just under an hour. We are traveling with a 2.5 year old. Are the F and N trolleycars crowded in the mornings (Like 8am on a Friday in June)
We would also like to stop at the Golden Gate Bridge on our way back to the hotel in the afternoon. Opinions?
I know public transportaion is usually the way to go in San Francisco but I am not sure if it will be worth it to get to this particular location. Thanks!
