Tadich Grill

I am thinking of going to Tadich grill tonight but am by myself. Is there a bar to eat at (even though I won't be drinking? Do you think it would be awkward to go here by yourself?

Did you miss this info at the Tadich Grill website ?

Can I eat at the bar?

Absolutely!

The long counter is extended into the bar at lunch, to provide more food service. The front bar is usually reserved for guests to enjoy a cocktail while waiting for the rest of their party and / or their table to open up. The 20 seat counter begins at the brass rail and is available from open to close. Full food and beverage service is always available at the counter.

Sf is a town where people come not only to relax and have a vacation but on business as well and solo folks on business have to eat so no issues going there alone to eat -- not at all awkward there or at most restaurants that have great food and a bar area. Go enjoy

Absolutely makes sense, I've done it at least once myself.

Solo dining at places that seat like Tadich does (such as sushi bars) is a *great* way to experience them. You show up, tell them you're a solo and you will often be seated right away or very quickly and avoid the wait that parties of 2, 3, 4 (or more) are experiencing.

That's my $.02,

The OP went last May. Someone dredged it up in #5 asking about reservations.
