I can tell you with any forcast you get for our area is going to be off. We only have one weather station here and it is at the base of the La Sal mountains which happens to be about 20 miles away and much cooler. During that time in October you should plan for a bit of rain and the temp. to drop to about 40 or 50 degrees at night during the day you will be getting 60 or 70 degrees. Sometimes we get snow in October sometimes we don't. I would not plan on it, but do be prepared, ie. jacket, sweater, pants...

We camp in Moab yearly and we ALWAYS go in October or May. It is the best time of year!!

Try undergroundweather.com. The site will be you a chart of each month for the last few years, enabling you to get a picture of the weather. You can enter a city or better yet, the zip code. I know this is late, but it is a good site for all of US.
