I agree with Tumbleweed. Your teens will enjoy being able to walk around town and you shouldn't have to worry about them.

With teenagers you might also look into the VRBO listings in Moab.

Depending on the time of year, they offer pr. night rates for 3bdrm/2bth that are not much more than a single motel room. With a family it can be nice to wake up to your own kitchen, a place to pack a cooler for tailgate lunches in the parks, washer/dryer, hot tub and community amenities such as pool, golf course, bike paths, etc.

Many only require a 3 night stay and in this economy, with so many owners struggling to maintain their vacation condos and townhomes, I've found that if they're not already booked they are often willing to rent for two nights.

There's quite a variety in Moab so you may be able to find one within walking distance of town.

We always stay at the Rustic Inn.

The rooms are very large and clean

and it´s only a few steps away

from mainstreet.

I think, it´s the best deal in town.
