Yes it is! Mid Oct is when all the trees are at their peak colors!

I am having mine this year. Oct 18th!

Have fun with the planning and congrats!

October is beautiful in Asheville! so as a result, this it PRIME time for weddings. Keep that in mind when planning your event. You will need to book NOW for next October as venues, hotels, venodors like photographer, etc.. book up very quickly. Some people opt to have their weddings toward the end of September or beginning of November to give a little flexibility in their planning. BUT...if you want the fall foliage then mid to late October (varies quite a bit as the "peak"--one year not too long ago it was into November before Peak season) is what you want then go for it...just be organized on what you need and book in advance. :o) I hope this helps!

I am planning an early June wedding at the Biltmore. If you ever want to compare notes or share information on photographers, entertainers, etc, please let me know. I can send you my personal email address if you'd like.

Thank you and good luck planning!
