One night in Asheville - where to stay?"

My husband and I are in town this weekend only for the night. for less than $250. The Bohemian looks ideal but is unfortunately a tad too expensive and Hotel Indigo has no vanacies (boo). We love good restaurants and would love to be able to walk to nightlife. Any suggestions?

The Haywood Park Hotel is nice. It's downtown near some nice places. Good luck.

The Downtown Inn and suites.

Cheap room that works, use what you save on lodging and hit up the breweries in Asheville and treat yourself to a good meal.

I second the Haywood Park Hotel. You can't beat the location!

We have stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton off of 22 Woodfin. The prices are very reasonable and it's a short walk to downtown.

The Chop House is located at the hotel. Though we have only had breakfast there. We spend the majority of time dining in downtown.

Have fun.
