What interests you? The mountains? hiking, the city, breweries, wandering downtown, music, ??? How long will you be in Asheville?

What kind of turkey dinner? Sit-down, buffet? Expensive? Cheap? There's a church in Hendersonville (and probably at least one in Asheville) that offers a free turkey dinner to anyone that comes. It's concept supported by many the other churches in town. At the other end of the spectrum are places like the Grove Park Inn with lavish and expensive dinners in an elegant setting.

Thx for your reply. We will be there for 3 days plan to do the Biltmore and other sights. Wanted to do nice sit down dinner for Thanksgiving day. Will probably head to Cherokee 1 day.

Depending on your schedule, you may be able to see Biltmore House and have a quite elegant Thanksgiving dinner in the Dining Room at the Inn at Biltmore or at one of the other restaurants on the estate.
