I am a little confused, please help :)

I have been trying to place where I will be when I come off our cruiseship next month. When I look up the address for the cruise terminal I can find one but it does not appear to be anywhere near water, this is where my confusion comes in.

Can someone please tell me where the cruise terminal is located and how close it is to Boston Common.

Thanks so much in advance

Black Falcon Terminal, your most likely terminal, is not near much of anything. If you have a lot of luggage, it's best to take a taxi to where you are going. If you can manage it, there is transit service with stops on Black Falcon Ave. Take a Silver Line bus marked South Station to South Station and transfer to the Red Line. If you are going near the Common, take the Red Line inbound to Park Street.

Along with the Silver line buses that the MBTA now has through that area you can also pick up a trolley on Port of Call days. Here's information on it picked up from the Massport site:

Cruiseport Boston, operating at the Black Falcon Cruise Terminal in the South Boston Waterfront District, is one of the most popular cruise ports in North America for a very good reason its proximity to the City of Boston. To help passengers make the most of their Port of Call, a first class, round-trip shuttle is now in operation to get you where you're going safely, efficiently, and comfortably.

Operated by Brush Hill / Gray Line / Beantown Trolley, the shuttle offers transportation on Port of Call days to some of

Boston's best destinations, such as: the New England Aquarium, located on Central Wharf on Boston s vibrant Waterfront; Faneuil Hall Marketplace, the seat of American history and the site of one of America's most famous shopping and dining experiences and Copley Square, home to Trinity Church, the elegant and upscale Copley Place Mall; and adjacent to trendy Newbury Street.

Shuttles depart every 15 minutes from the Cruise Terminal on Port of Call days, approximately from the time passengers are first allowed to leave their vessel, until the time advertised by the vessel as the last opportunity to re-board.

April through August: $8.00 one way $12.00 round trip

September & October: $10.00 one way $15.00 round trip

** Tickets and information is available within the Black Falcon Cruise Terminal. Brush Hill / Gray Line / Beantown Trolley personnel will be on site to assist all passengers and will provide escort to Trolleys and Coaches.
