I did a search, but didn't find any posts newer than 2008. We are staying at the Omni Parker House this Friday night and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for Breakfast. We will be walking as we are taking the train in from Maine. Not Starbucks/Dunkin Donuts type bfast, a sit down Bacon & eggs type place, possibly with good Bloody Mary's. We may need one if the Sox lose Friday night. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

1. Re: Breakfast

The Parker House itself has one of the best breakfasts, but, of course, that doesn't come cheap. Around the corner is Silvertone's. Or further down Trement Street, across from the Boston Common, there are several small places that serve breakfast. And folks will mention the Parmaount, which is on Charles Street on the other side of the Common.

The Delicato Café is just steps away from the Parker House and serves up delicious, inexpensive breakfasts. It's small, not fancy, and no alcoholic drinks, but the food is fantastic:
