Bruins tickets November - day of availability?

We will be in Boston the weekend of Nov 12 and want to see the Bruin's game.

Is it reasonable to expect we would be able to get tickets at the box office the day of the game or should we get them ahead of time?

Get them ahead of time. I like StubHub. You could also try Ace Tickets. I don't think there will be any available at the box office and if you really have your heart set on going, buy them ahead of time. Buying second hand from these sites is completely safe but you will be paying over the original price of the ticket and sometimes quite a bit. The upper balcony is okay to purchase but try to get the first five rows. If you buy the higher rows, it is just too high up there. Try Ticketmaster first, even though they do have fees. You would be paying the asking price plus the fees usually $8.00 or so per ticket. Good luck getting tickets and have a great time at the game.

If you go on the Bruin's website and go to tickets you will see that there is an area where you can buy tickets from ticketholders that are selling them. You will not be able to buy them at the box office the day of the game. Buy them in advance from Bruins site or the aforementioned reputable resellers.
