Boston Day Trip

Thinking of taking day trip to Boston. Will have a car but would like to park for the day and wonder the city. Definitely want to go to Quincy Market and possibly Sam Adams for a tour. Any suggestions on central area to leave the car that isn't too pricy? We are fine with depending on public transportation to get around. Not looking to spend the night since we are only about three hours from Boston.

Will you be visiting on a weekend or a weekday?

The best lowest price central area to leave a car is the Boston Common Underground Garage. Cost is $22 during the week and $11 on weekends. You could also park in South Boston (Northern Avenue) for $12-14 a day, but this is not as central as the Common.

If you are coming from Albany, you can park your car at Riverside Station and take the T into Boston. You do have to pay for parking, but it is very reasonable and convenient.
