Boston South Station Area Hotel

Early June we will be coming in on Amtrak to Boston arriving at 9 pm. We will be boarding a cruise boat the next day. Any suggestions on reasonable and safe hotels in that area.

Any of the downtown hotels are close. The ones closest to south station and the terminal are: the intercontinental, westin waterfront, seaport hotel. Also look at the Langham or even holiday inn beacon hill.

Also you can look at the Marriott Long Wharf, Boston Harbor Hotel (pricey), and the Harborside Inn.

These would all be a short cab ride from South Station.

I'd recommend one of the hotels in the Seaport district because they're so close to the cruise terminal. The Marriott that Oldiesguy mentioned would be a pretty good choice I'd say.
