Are floor seats worth the money? Where have you enjoyed sitting?

Floor seats are nice because you are at a table and can get a drink and/or snack. If that's not something you would like to do, then they are not necessary. Just about any seat in Symphony Hall is Ok.

I love sitting in the front row (on either side) of the first balcony, as near the stage as you can get. I'd actually rather sit there than on the floor. The seats are very comfortable, you can watch everyone and (IMHO) see the stage better. Usually we eat dinner before, so we don't care about drinks or snacks.

But as previously said, there isn't really a *bad* seat in Symphony Hall. It's a really beautiful place.

Sitting at a table is a treat especially for the Christmas Season concerts. That being said, the hall itself is such an intimate type of place, that almost anywhere feels like you are part of th eperformance
