sox game

Coming from out of state... family of 5... Sox game 4/21. (Fri-Mon). Looking to stay outside of city and ride T in. Would prefer place with indoor pool and full breakfast. On a "budget" but understand cost of Boston area. Recommendations?

Will you have a car? If yes and you can drive yourself to T you will have more option.

For starters check out Hyatt Place Medford. Not sure about the pool though. Also Embassy suites East Boston (Logan airport)

Hyatt Place in Medford does have a pool, don't know about breakfast though. It is less than a 15 minute drive to Wellington T and they have shuttles, too.

Newton Marriott has a nice pool, and I believe they offer breakfast as well. It's a short drive to the Green Line at Woodland or Riverside, which makes it easy to get to Fenway,

There is also a Marriott in Quincy. Are you driving from Pennsylvania? It would probably be easiest to find a hotel South or West of Boston. There are numerous chain hotels on Rt. 95/128 in the Waltham, Burlington area as well (Embassy Suites, Courtyard, Hyatt House). Then you could drive to Alewife Station for the Red Line or to the Green Line as mentioned above.

Can anyone speak to (I realize it's north/northwest of the city):

DoubleTree by Hilton Boston - Bedford Glen

44 Middlesex Tpke Bedford

And is it anywhere near access to the T?
