Where would you eat if you had one night in Boston?

Hi everyone,

Hubby and I have 36 hours in Boston after a cruise. Where should we eat on a Saturday night in July? There are too many amazing restaurants, so I can't decide. From the research I've done on TripAdvisor it seems that seafood (obviously) and Italian are your favorites? Any suggestions would be great! We're staying at Hotel 140.

Thanks in advance and hi from Chicago!

Atlantic Fish Company in Back Bay reasonably near your hotel, Legal Seafoods everywhere, Mama Maria in the North End.

During the summer, the ambiance of wandering around the North End would be my pick. Many places to choose from there. I would recommend a reservation if possible.

Island Creek Oyster Bar in Kenmore Square as long as it isn't a night when there is a baseball game. You can get reservations and it will be one of the best seafood meals you have had anywhere. Excellent service and a fun place.

I am with Mahj, North End! At least for a cannoli if not dinner.

Enjoy!

Another vote for the North End. No place in particular.

North End. This being a Saturday nite, be sure to make reservations at the place you pick. There's a great selection of Italian restaurants in the Restaurants tab above. Their locations are not immediately apparent, so you have to click on those of interest. However, most are in the NE.

Well you are from Chicago and we can get the Fed Ex fresh fish here just as well as they can in Boston right? But then we can also get great Italian. Guess you'll have to toss a coin then make a reservation.

Ditto on the North End for all things Italian!
