Suite Hotel recommendation near public transportation

We will be in Boston for two nights in late July. We want a suite hotel (Embassy, Springhill, Doubletree, Homewood, etc) so that we don't have to go to bed at 8:30 when the kids go to sleep. Everything that I am finding looks suburban (which is fine), but nowhere near any T stops. Our budget is around $200 per night if we need to pay parking or a bit higher if we don't. We will have a car, but would prefer to use the subway. Ideas?

Also take a look at Hyatt Place in Medford. They have a shuttle to the T. Not as centrally located as the above suggestions, but should be a more affordable option.

It's also possible to stay at one of the Suburban hotels and drive to a T stop with parking. Alewife (in Cambridge) and Riverside (in Newton) are the usual choices. They are on the frequently running part of the T, which is better than being on the commuter rail.
