Comcast Center and Brockton or Milford, easier to get to?

HI, Going to concert, nothing reasonable has availability. So my 2 choices are Brockton, or the Franklin/Milford area. Which of these 2 choices would be better to find hotel under 100.00 a night and very easy to get to, or the fastest? Is either town a "safer" area? Or if there is another choice that would be better, would love that info too. Thanks so much

Milford is safer than Brockton, generally speaking. Have you tried the Holiday Inn in Mansfield? It's a bit isolated in an office park, but it's a lovely hotel with a pool. It's very close to the Comcast center.

Also, there is a Red Roof Inn, in Mansfield that is only a couple of miles from the Comcast Center. They are showing a nightly rate of $78/night. That will be tough to beat.

Thanks Beantown Man, that was helpful. Can you tell me how long a drive from the Comcast Center to Franklin/Milford? We will be leaving our teens there while we go to the concert and we want to be not too far away in case they need us. We also want a nice safe hotel. Any other suggestions? The Redroof is sold out and the Holiday Inn is too expensive for that night (Eagles concert). Thanks for any suggestions.

Miflord to the Comcast Center Ctr. is about 20-25 min via Rte. 495.

Mapquest has the ride from Franklin to the center as 22 minutes. With the usual problems of getting in and out, I would allow at least an hour. The Holiday Inn suggestion is a good idea.

Hi,

Have you checked into all the hotels at this link? Any of these are close to the Comcast Center:

The hotels/motels along Route One in Norwood, Sharon and Foxboro would be closer than Franklin too. It can take 90 minutes plus to get out of the parking lot at Comcast, unless you splurge for VIP parking. I would avoid Brockton at all costs, especially since you are leaving your teens at the hotel.

What show are you going to? Dates?

Yes, avoid Brockton. Not a safe place to be.
