Millenium Bostonian vs Royal Sonesta Cambridge - Family of 4

Will be in Boston for 3 days at the beginning of Thanksgiving week. Family of 4 (kids ages 13 and 10).... Arrive late on Saturday, so hoping for quick/easy bite to eat. We plan on seeing Old Ironsides/USS Constitution on Sunday (closed the rest of the time we're there), and the Museum of Science on Monday. One of the evenings we plan on seeing the light show at Faneuil Hall (Blink).

Deciding where to stay has become a discussion point between us! Millennium is close to Faneuil Hall and lots of restaurants (we are originally from New England and appreciate a good pizza pie, as well as good seafood), but want to be sure that it isn't overly busy/crowded/noisy into the wee hours of the night (we value our sleep!). Royal Sonesta doesn't appear to have many restaurants nearby, but is close to where we want to visit. We are open to taking the T or Uber car service as needed.

Thanks for any input in advance!

That's where I would want to be. The Millenium.

The Millenium is set back a bit from the main Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market area. Street noise and bar noise are not a problem. Go with the Millenium.

If noise is a big concern, ask for a higher floor just for extra insurance, but it was a complete non-issue when I stayed there.

Even it there is some noise, Millenium location would be worth it.

I may be wrong, but I think too the city may be a wee quieter with the college kids going home for Thanksgiving.
