Group of 7 adults for four day visit

We will be driving to boston from Delaware next Sunday and leaving Thursday. We are renting an apartment in beacon hill. We have already booked a hop on/hop off for Monday, and the items on our bucket list are Freedom Trail, Sam Adams brewery, Fenway tour, North end, MIT and Harvard ( we have a cousin that attends MIT and will show us around), etc. My main question is where would be some good places for a large group (7) to eat and drink around the city? We all love to walk and have no problem hoofing it around town. We enjoy wine, patios, and conversation over appetizers. Also, we are all from San Antonio and will be wanting to watch our Spurs on TV during the NBA finals next week. One more thing...how's the weather been lately? Think it will be nice next week? Is it humid in boston at all during this time? Thanks!!

Lots of places, can accommodate groups of 7 ... did you have any type of cuisine or price point in mind?

Weather has been cooler than average and humidity virtually non existent. The next few days are predicted to have highs near 80 and then drop back a bit. It is anybody's guess what it will be like by the time you arrive.

Cheap to mid range price, maybe one high end bar for just a drink and ambiance. Any cuisine. Kinda interested in rooftop decks for views and sunshine.

For outdoor rooftop locations, try the Rattlesnake Bar and Grill on Boylston St., and for terrific views, the 3rd floor bar at Legal Harborside in the Seaport area. The ultimate view is from the Top of the Hub, at the top of the Prudential Center. It is indoors but the bar is a nice place for a drink especially around sunset.

Weather permitting you'll find a lot of outdoor patio dining on Newbury St.

With 7 people, you may want to make reservations for dinner.

There is no shortage of bars in Boston and if you walk towards the Quincy Market area, you'll find plenty of places to watch the games. There are also good bars near Fenway.
