staying in Medford tonight....help!

Hello! We are visiting Boston for a couple days with my older parents, staying in Medford. We would like something to do tonight. We did the JFK museum and will be doing a tour tomorrow. We are looking for something simple tonight (walking around and grabbing a bite, enjoying the shops, etc) The man at the front desk suggested Assembly Row. Sounded good, but as I googled it, looks like everything is "opening soon". Any ideas or would that work? Thanks!

If you have a car, Davis Square should be easy enough to get to.

I'd suggest Davis Square as well. Go and walk around and pick a restaurant that looks interesting. It's a short drive from Medford.

If you are at Assembly Row, there is a Christmas Tree Shop, Bed & Bath, TJMaxx, KMart, etc.
