Balboa Park

Please people of San Diego....we need your help. We have a teddy bear travelling round the world for a childrens charity, so far he has covered 85,000 miles.

Last friday afternoon he went missing either in Balboa Park or surrounding streets. Please if anyone found this little bear or prehaps your child found him, can you contact his email address.....guardians are eagerly checking it BigBenBear@hotmail .co.uk He has brown fur, approx 8 inchs high and has a Union Jack emblem on his right foot. Please help us find him.....thank you.

If anyone is a member of that forum.....please look up post by HelpFindingBenBear (me) and bump up......some peeps on there were trying to help get the message over for him as a poster did start a new thread for me....but now I’m lock out…..thanks

Craigslist is a good idea.

Maybe you can get an article in the San Diego Reader(?) I don't know how that works but it won't hurt to contact them. You could pay to put in an ad but I'd still try to get them to do an article. It's a weekly.

And, maybe contact our daily newspaper

http://www.utsandiego.com/

I'd also contact Downtown San Diego. It's a monthly publication and they are probably putting together April's issue.

Be sure when you contact them that you send those links with his pictures. Gotta tug on those heart strings! Good luck.

Can't hurt to try every possibility. We have a TV station that focuses heavily on local community news. I don't know if they'll do anything on-air. If you were still in town they might have interviewed you and done a story. Well, like I said, can't hurt to try.

KUSI

Other local TV stations

NBC

CBS

ABC

And definitely put in Craigslist.
