Favorite casual restaurants in Mission Beach

Any ideas for fun, different cuisines in Mission Beach? Family of four, two teenage boys; we love Mexican, Thai, sushi, hamburgers, (though my husband is vegan)....any suggestions of favorites/not to miss? We are totally not foodies, btw. Just would like some good go-to places. Thanks!

All the restaurants are casual! Where exactly are you staying and are you looking to walk to the restaurant or will you drive? Mission Beach leads into Pacific Beach and the range of restaurants in Pacific Beach is wider.

In Mission Beach:

I am sure others will have more ideas.

We stayed in Mission Beach last summer, and our favorite breakfast place was Olive Cafe - cute as a button and good food. It's tiny and gets crowded, so arrive early to get a seat on the outdoor patio.

I can't think of any Thai in MB, PB has a lot of good Thai places, Lanna Thai is the best, Le Basil Thai is pretty good and so is Thai Village.

Again, no great sushi in MB, but yes in Pacific Beach, Sushi Ota is one of the best in all of San Diego County. Another place in PB I love is Kabuki Sushi, while it is not great sushi, but still good and the part I love is the sushi floats by you on a boat and you take what you want. (I am a sucker for gimmicks).

There are good Mexican joints in MB, but I can't remember any of their names. They are just joints on Mission Blvd, but all have good San Diego Mexican food.

The Mission is great for breakfast, but can have long lines because it is good
